For nine years I've worked inside procurement, sourcing, and operations — currently as a Senior Procurement Specialist at a global sporting-goods group. Not as someone watching from the outside, but as the person who had to live with the broken workflows, the bloated spreadsheets, and the manual processes nobody had time to fix.

That frustration turned into a habit. I started automating — first my own work with a browser extension that cut purchase-order processing from 8 minutes to 90 seconds, then a supplier analytics dashboard that replaced a 12-tab spreadsheet. More recently I built LaserCalc, a Tauri desktop app that prices laser jobs in real time, because quoting them by hand was slow and inconsistent.

The shift that made all of this possible: I stopped waiting until I knew enough to build, and started building to figure out what I needed to know. Now I bring that same approach to other businesses — mapping where the real bottlenecks are and building systems that remove them, using AI tools, n8n, Python, Power BI, and whatever actually fits the problem.
